VenueCzar Presents
Nowhere Found plays hard-hitting alternative rock. A melodic-style vocalist combines with original metal riffs and thundering rhythm on drums and bass. Our music is conducive to dancing bodies, banging heads and souls elevated in praise to the gods of rock.
Formed in a small town in northwestern Vermont, Nowhere Found's creation is the result of an uncanny set of eerie circumstances that may never be fully explained. The band does not question fate; it accepts the good graces and focuses on its mission of writing original music that will motivate your subconscious rock glands.
The band recorded its first EP, entitled "Bleed Like Me," at Madcow Productions in Essex, Vermont. This professional effort is their debut introduction to the wider regional audience of New England, and has already been well received.
The roads of life have brought the associates of Stolid together, but Ben, Joe, Ryan, and Josh will choose their path from here. With a melodic three-part-harmony chorus, or a punk fueled and shotgun drummed tune, the songs of Stolid are ready to be released upon the masses.
The bands independent, much anticipated, debut EP, What It's Worth, was released in February 2007. Tracked at Strangeways Recording in Burlington, VT, Ben and Joey split the duty of vocals, and belt out verses describing the trials of life and love. Citing such diverse influences as Bad Religion, Metallica, Staind, Green Day and The Ataris, the band melds in and out of genres, describing themselves most often as Alternative Hard Rock.
With strong hometown support and an exciting studio release behind them, Stolid looks to introduce their music to a wider and more distant new audience, spreading the music that they love to play, to fans that love to listen.
Of All Things was Formed in june 2005, By drummer Mike Simons and Guitarist/Singer Dylan Costello. To make a long story short, Of All Things went through many lineup changes to become the band they are now. The current lineup of band members Dylan, Mike and Chris have been the most successful yet. With a strong punk-pop sound, Of All Things includes melodic vocals and fast paced music inspired by a teenage world.
Cresforce started as a tribute band (tributing Metallica) that only expected to play one show, after playing that show they were invited to play another. After that show they decided to become a full time band and play their own stuff. After a few line up changes they became the Cresforce that we see today. They describe their music as heavy metal with progressive elements, so think in terms of Lamb of God meets Between the Buried & Me. Cresforce force is currently writing/recording some new songs and preparing for an onslaught of summer shows.
