KuFui, the name inspired by the Japanese characters for Void & Wind, conjure a unique sonic experience with both ambience and precision. An instrumental three piece, recently adding guitarist Jay Ekis into the mix, Jesse Gile, bassist and composer and Andy Suits on drums, carve mountainous epics with vastly complex peaks.The trio lays down monstrously deep grooves that twist and turn like a serpentine river of molten rock. Both heavy and psychedelic, they have been likened by listeners to a fusion of Tool, Morphine, and Primus.
