After spending the winter in studios in Providence, Boston and Baltimore, Zac Clark is back at Higher Ground with bassist Joe Ballaro and drummer Dan Duggins, formerly of Hot Rod Circuit, to unveil songs from his forthcoming record, "Find Yourself Here." Sharing the stage with the likes of Gomez (ATO Records) and Augustana (Epic Records), Zac's blend of pop sensibility and high-energy stage presence has won over audiences up and down the East Coast. Hailed as a "top-flight pop-rock piano player" by the Burlington Free Press and compared to Ben Folds and Elvis Costello by Seven Days, you won't want to miss this show.

Sydhttp://www.syd-music.com

Syd is a singer/songwriter from Vermont living in Brooklyn whose love of "indie rock", driving rhythms and 50's pop has separated him from the growing legions of boys wielding guitars. After playing hundreds of shows a year since 2002, selling a combined 3000 physical copies of his first two records and an astonishing 23,000 digital downloads, Syd brought his band (drummer Sam Smith, now Ben Folds' throne man and guitarist Dylan Allen, now also living in New York) into the deep woods of Chelsea, VT to record in a gutted barn what would become 2007's "The Way We Found It", a record that re-defines the sound Syd has been honing all these years. Produced by They Might Be Giants' Danny Weinkauf, "The Way We Found It" is a new sound, and altogether familiar.

Along the way, he's earned a spot in Music Connection magazine's "Top 25 Demos of the Year", a nomination for Starbuck's Coffeehouse Peformer of the Year, showcases at NXNE and Nemo Music Festival, a spot in the lineup at the Virgin Music Fest in Baltimore, and a song featured in FX's "Rescue Me" with Dennis Leary. Syd has also played opening slots in front of Ari Hest, John Vanderslice, Stephen Kellogg and The Sixers, The Zombies and Hanson, among many others.

James Kinnehttp://www.jameskinne.com

James Kinne has an extensive playing history. His former band Chasing Gray was labeled 'the best unsigned band' by Spin Magazine. James has played live performances on the Oxygen Network and appears March 15th on CBS's WCAX Late Nite with Tim Cavanaugh. James has toured with The Samples, Live, Vertical Horizon, and has been opening support for several other major label acts from They Might Be Giants to Run-DMC. James' music is available on iTunes, Real Rhapsody, Amazon, and most other digital download platforms.

"James has that rare ability to write the kind of songs that make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. He writes the kind of songs that matter, not because of bold political statements or some outlandish social commentary, but songs that matter because of the way and the manner in which people relate to and connect with his music." - BostonBands.com

Tom Cadrinhttp://www.myspace.com/tomcadrin

Tom Cadrin is a singer-songwriter, originally from Massachusetts. With influences ranging from The Dillinger Escape Plan to Mason Jennings, the culmination of his music brings the listener along for an interesting ride. His eccentric strumming style, odd time signatures and jolting changes in feel demand attention. By combining elements of jazz, folk, indie and acoustic “math-rock,” Cadrin’s music is certainly an experience.
