Originally an acoustic spin-off of Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna emerged as a popular touring act of the 1970s and eventually became the full-time focus of founding members Jack Casady and Jorma Kaukonen, The group's acoustic and electric renditions on blues tunes, are lead by living legends Casady and Kaukonen, both of whom were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the late 1990s.
