Viva plays guitar like a flaming sword, a screaming train, a ringing bell, and a scratching chicken. She sings like if Freddy Mercury had been a woman. She has performed everywhere from the Michigan Womyn’s Festival with Paprika, Bonnaroo with Cyro Baptista & Beat The Donkey and The Monterey Jazz Festival with Peter Apfelbaum & The NY Hieroglyphics. On stage she lays it down heavy, combining story songs with gorgeous psychedelic rock guitar, afro grooves and righteous feminine power, embodying the essence of a glamorous outlaw who somehow lives next door. This show will also feature Sean Dixon on drums and Emma Alabaster on the Bass.
