There is plenty of free parking adjacent to the venue, however, carpooling is strongly encouraged. As always, children 12 and under will be admitted free. For the safety and comfort of everyone attending the event, the following will not be allowed in: no pets, no glass, no alcohol, and no tall lawn chairs. Ben & Jerry’s Concerts on the Green at Shelburne Musuem is going carbon neutral once again this year, thanks to the renewed partnership between Brighter Planet and Higher Ground. The greenhouse gas emissions associated with the series’ waste stream, fossil fuel use, and transportation will be measured, reduced, and offset. Carbon reduction initiatives will be in place at each show including a robust recycling program, the use of biodegradable beer cups, and a rideshare program. Brighter Planet will complement these greening efforts by offsetting the series’ remaining emissions through the support of community based renewable energy projects throughout the US.
