A dance-rock sextet featuring two drummers and a piano player, White Rabbits refer to their music as "honky tonk calypso," as their cheerful blend of calypso, reggae and ska rhythms, plus secondhand music hall influences and big pop hooks, strongly recalls vintage Madness circa "Our House" and the moodier, more experimental side of artists like the Specials and Ted Leo & the Pharmacists.
Glass Ghost is Eliot Krimsky on Voice/Keyboards and Mike Johnson on Drums/Voice. Their first album, 'Idol Omen', will be out on Western Vinyl recordings in October 2009.
Deep within the Vermont woods, D wrote a suite of experimental pop songs on a beat up piano. D brought his songs to the attention of T, H & C who fleshed out D's songs into a rock band format. Shows in VT and NYC opening for Fiery Furnaces, Dead Meadow and Casio Tone for the Painfully Alone established My Dearest Darling as an emerging band to look out for. The debut record will be self-released in October 2009. Z joined the live MDD line up as a 5th member in Fall 2009.
In addition to performing with MDD - D & C played in the now departed Tell No One/Akrasia, T & H play in Lendway and Z plays in Villanelles.
