If DATSIK (born Troy Beetles) sounds more like a young rapper than one of the world’s preeminent young dubstepstars, it’s for good reason. The Kelowna, British Columbia, native grew up a hardcore rap fan that still pledges allegiance to classic Wu-Tang Clan and it permeates his dark, aggressive music.

DATSIK’s future-tech dance-floor detonators exploded on the dubstep scene almost immediately, racking up a series of seven #1 tracks on Beatport, including at one time owning five of the ten tunes on their best-sellers chart. He’s also had smash hits on other music sites like Juno, Red Eye and Chemical Records and early remix credits include works for the biggest names in the game like Diplo, The Crystal Method and Bassnectar.
Crizzly
Crizzly
Do it yourself. Perhaps no other artist embodies this phrase better than Texas- based Christopher Marshall, or as his adoring fans know him, Crizzly. Without the marketing engine of a massive label, Crizzly and his inventive Crunkstep style became a mainstay in the bass community through hard work, calculated songwriting, and energetic live performances. But his journey started well before fans were experiencing his devastating drops on the dancefloor.

Marshall's music career began in a small town just outside San Antonio where he DJ'ed weddings and high school dances. Cutting his teeth on the decks show by show, he found himself drawn to the sounds of acts like Rusko and Doctor P, while still maintaining his affinity for hip-hop—the combination of which would later culminate into his signature sound.

Marshall's instantly recognizable style proliferates through inventive bootleg interpretations of acts like Skee Lo, Macklemore, A$AP Rocky, and Lil' Flip, his tasteful official remixes, and his legendary original works. His works have tallied up tens of millions of plays collectively, catching the eyes and ears of bloggers, tastemakers, promoters, and fans alike.

While his chart-topping tracks certainly bring fans in, Crizzly's live performances keep them coming back. Lovingly referred to as his Slice Gang, this dedicated group of bass-hungry fans eagerly line up at notable clubs and major festivals to experience the encompassing, head-banging, unrelenting sets that come from this storied producer/DJ. That's the true magic with Crizzly's music: From grand stages at EDC, Lollapalooza, Coachella and Warped Tour to sold out clubs across the globe, people aren't just listening; they're experiencing.
Virtual Riot
There's little doubt of the hype that has been building around Virtual Riot over the last year.

Since signing to Disciple Recordings just over a year ago, Valentin Brunn has really seen his sound go from strength to strength, and with massive players in the game such as Skrillex and Excision regularly playing several of his tracks it's clear that the scene is seriously starting to take notice too.

Something of a rarity, the young German producer has managed to effortlessly combine classically trained musicality with class-leading sound design, creating wide appeal with fans across the genre, yet maintaining a level of authenticity that speaks to the foundations of either extreme. Alongside regular DJ support, Virtual Riot has racked up a vast audience online through his tutorials, fan interaction, and the more melodic side of his work.

His North American debut has been highly anticipated for a while now, and with 2017 just around the corner, we can't wait to see what's in store for him next.
