NEEDTOBREATHE will kick off a North American headlining tour in September, giving fans a sneak peek at their upcoming album out in early 2014. With their reputation as a must-see live act, "The Stomping Ground Tour" - a 6-week run - will see the band bring their exhilarating live show to intimate venues such as NY's Bowery Ballroom, Athen's 40 Watt and Nashville's Exit/In.
"This tour is about us getting back to our roots. There's nothing more exciting than feeling music together in an up close and intimate setting. We're inviting our fans to experience some of our favorite venues across the country that played a big part in making us the band that we are today," says Bo Rinehart.
The group's upcoming album (more info coming shortly) is the follow up to their album “The Reckoning” which The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly and USA Today, among others, praised for its songwriting that touches on the classic elements of rock with arena-ready choruses. “The Reckoning” debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top 200.
NEEDTOBREATHE spent most of 2010 and 2011 on the road, selling out shows at Nashville's famed Ryman Auditorium, along with famed venues in New York, Austin, Denver, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. The band also performed alongside Bruce Springsteen, appeared at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, and performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Conan.
