  • PARKING

    Where do we park to unload?
    If you are playing in the Showcase Lounge you can park on the left side of the building and unload through the first door to the left on the brick wall.

    If you are playing the Ballroom you must pull around the left side of the building and then take a right around to the back. You will see a blue storage cooler. Line your trailer/bus up with the load in door on that side.

    Does it live there, or does it have to move?
    Immediately after unloading you need to move your vehicle. You can either park in a regular parking spot or pull around back and park by the blue storage cooler.

    If you are playing the Ballroom, then your vehicle can stay where it is.

    Do you have shore power?
    Yes, we have two hook ups and they’re located on the West wall of the building, next to the loading dock. Buses must stay on gravel and cannot be in the paved section of this parking lot. You can fit two buses side by side.

    Do you have security for the buses?
    We do not supply security for the buses, car, trailers, vans or bikes.

    Is the bus/trailer safe overnight?
    Bus/Trailer parking is fairly safe at the club but obviously you do so at your own risk. The So. Burlington Police drive through our parking lots frequently and Burlington, in general, is very safe.

  • PRODUCTION

    How far is the push to the stage?
    In both rooms it is about 15ft. We have a ramp that goes to the stage. The ramp dimensions are 3x12

    What is the power service for sound and lights?

    SOUND-100 amp. 3 phase. Cam lock tie in.
    LIGHTS-300 amp. 3 phase. Cam lock tie in. Neutral and ground turned around. Make sure your PD is compatible or have the necessary cam locks to tie in.

    Where do we store dead cases?
    BALLROOM-stage right and in the Showcase Lounge when we can.
    SHOWCASE-stage right and left

    Is there a production office?
    The production office is upstairs. Take the stairs by the bay door. Production office is first door to the left. It is usually locked so ask the Production Manager for the keys.

    WIFI?
    Yes, throughout the building. No password required.

    Can we hang a backdrop?
    You can hang a backdrop in both rooms from the pipe where our commando cloth is hanging. The trim height of the stage is 14 ft to the steel. Try and get this up before the cases start rolling in. Fire certificate preferred.

    What does the club use for credentials?
    We have HG sticky passes. We designate a color and a code for each night. When you advance, be sure to indicate if you will need these. If you prefer to use yours, that’s fine.

    Do you have a shower?
    No, not yet.

    Do you provide a runner?
    No. Per Advance

    Where do we set up merch?
    We have a merch booth in the lobby. Any other arrangement needs to be coordinated with Friday.

  • HOSPITALITY

    Catering or Buyout?
    Catering. Always. We have a full in-house kitchen run by an independent caterer, Roy St. Pierre Catering. Roy St Pierre has cooked for the best in the business and can cater to any dietary requirements. His food consistently receives rave reviews from bands at the new Higher Ground.

    Our catering includes a full salad, bread, several sides and entree options and assorted desserts. All catering is served on real plates, with real utensils.

    Being on the road is tough and it is always nice to have a warm, professionally cooked meal. We deliver in a BIG way.

    Talk to Friday about your band’s dietary requirements.

    Where will catering be served from?
    Catering is served upstairs, next to the dressing rooms.

    Dressing rooms?
    There are 4 private dressing rooms upstairs, all with private VIP balconies overlooking the venue and direct access to the stage.

    Bathrooms?
    There are 2 private bathrooms upstairs as well.

    Who do I call when I need something?
    We usually have a hospitality girl on staff to assist with any needs you may have upstairs. But in a pinch, ask one of the security guards to radio Friday.

    Is there security by the green rooms?
    We have a security guard stage right and at the bottom of the stairs to the greenrooms. We also have security walk through the upstairs from time to time to monitor.
