100% of the profit from this event will go to Veterans Count, an organization that raises money for programs, run by the Easter Seals, that benefit our current and past members of the armed forces, with all of the money raised in Vermont remaining in Vermont. The Vermont Chapter of Veterans Count is a new chapter, but has already begun providing services to Vermont Veterans.

Geri Barrows is turning 50 this year and she wants to have a party for Suicide prevention!!!!

Rock meets country as Jamie Lee Thurston and Quadra provide a night of music and dancing to tackle the stigma of suicide in our local communities. Come hear Jamie Lee perform songs from his latest release "The Window" and dance to all the “classics” with Quadra!!! Let's raise some money for a GREAT cause and make it an evening to remember.

There are more suicides in Vermont each year than motor vehicle fatalities or homicides.

On average one person dies by suicide every 4 days in the state.
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in VT between the ages of 15-34
Recent data shows there were 441 hospitalizations for attempted suicide in Vermont, and 1,007 Emergency Room visits for suicide attempts in a single year

September is National Suicide Prevention Month, which also happens to be Geri’s birthday month. Geri has been personally affected by suicide, not once, but three times. Through her experiences Geri has heard the stories of countless other friends and community members who have been impacted by this public health crisis. Geri’s birthday wish is that we stand together as a community to help those struggling with mental illness and those who have been personally affected by suicide.

Let’s come together to raise awareness for Suicide Prevention.

Let’s send Geri over the hill in style and have a night to remember by showing our love and support, not to mention our serious dance moves! Each ticket also gets you a chance to win some seriously cool stuff.

All proceeds will be donated to the Vermont Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
The Woedoggies
The Woedoggies
The Woedoggies have an eclectic sound firmly rooted in classic country, blues and Americana. Based in northern Vermont the Woedoggies perform as an acoustic trio and with a full electric band. The trio consists of Vermont music veterans Peter Riley on bass and vocals (Breakaway and The X-Rays), Rudy Dauth on lead guitar and vocals (Pulse Prophets) and Wylie Shipman on rhythm guitar, harmonica and vocals. With an arsenal of originals and an extensive repertoire of classic country, blues, and folk covers, the Woedoggies mix tight 3-part harmonies with expert musicianship and strong songwriting to discover new horizons of the acoustic Americana sound. The band's first studio record Sorrytown reflects the band's wide ranging influences from bluegrass to classic country to loud, growling blues. Produced by Jared Slomoff (Mike Gordon, Phish) and featuring Russ Lawton on drums, Sorrytown captures the raw energy and dynamic range of a live Woedoggies performance.
